Thiers

Seven centuries of cutlery

Since the Middle Ages, the Durolle valley has used its water mills to forge and grind blades. Most knives made in France still come from the Thiers area. Le Thiers®, created by the cutlers' guild, can only be made here: a guarantee of origin carried by both houses.
